About EXO Advisory Group
How it all started
It all began with a man whose goal was to give his mum a better life and to bring light to the people he crossed path with while doing that. With an eye for opportunities and a determination to succeed, not only did Edmund Xu managed to put a stop to his family’s poverty cycle, he also helped many others do the same.
Having experienced how good financial planning has helped him become a better steward of his own finances, he wanted to expand his outreach and serve more people. He also found the social stigma towards advisors unbearable and believed something needs to change - financial consultants deserves more recognition for the important work they do.
He knew though, he cannot do it alone.
With the support and blessings of his leaders and fellow teammates,
EXO Advisory Group started on December 2011.

We are a group of people who wants to change the financial services industry. We believe that our clients deserve better advice and service; our advisors deserve greater pride and respect for the work they do; and we aim to raise our standards to achieve both of that. To achieve our Mission, we work hard to maintain a culture that encourages learning, growth and performance in our people, and we build support systems for our consultants to conduct their business sustainably.
When we are not busy working on our goals and aspiration, we are only regular people with our unique quirks and peeves.
